I Don't Know What I'm Doing (but I'm still doin it)

This whole AT Protocol thing baffles and befuddles me. Like, I kinda get it? Until I look a little further into it and I think maybe I don't.

I like it though! I always loved blogs, even when they were the butt of most internet jokes. Now it seems like they have a fresh coat of paint. At one point it was nerdy to have a blog, and it still is, only now nerdy is cool.

I've messed around with leaflet and bluesky, and now I'm jabbering on here on pckt. Honestly, I'm not even sure what will happen if and when I hit the publish button. Will it post to my bluesky? I reckon I'll find out.

I only have a few real life friends that blog, but reading their long-form thoughts make me feel closer to them even if we don't interact all that often. Most of my internet friends and acquaintances revolve around my twitch stream that I've done for far too many years.

It's me, kinda, but as a character. So it becomes a weird balancing act of being myself, but not too much myself. But I figure this is a pretty safe spot, on account of the fact that very few people will see it.

I've been greatly enjoying watching the World Cup. Even though (this is a common thread in my life) I have no idea what's going on.
